Alison was so easy to work with for our family photoshoot! She was detailed and fun. We were very comfortable as well as impressed with the photos! We will 100% be reaching back out to schedule future shoots with her!!

I loved the photos Alison shared with us after our content day at our farm. The bright use of color and crisp images were very professional.

She is very kind, creative. And the pictures? PERFECT!
Not at all. Many sessions are booked simply to document a season of life. Portraits are about honoring where you are right now, whether that’s growing a family, stepping into something new, or wanting to be seen as you are, through thoughtful portrait photography in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I photograph a wide range of portraits including families, maternity, newborn, graduates, couples, individual portraits, engagements, elopements, and weddings. Sessions are centered on connection, presence, and story, rather than rigid posing or timelines, serving Salt Lake City and the surrounding Utah area.
That’s completely normal. You do not need to know how to pose or perform. I offer gentle direction focused on movement, comfort, and natural interaction so you can settle into the experience without pressure during your portrait session.
Sessions can take place outdoors, in your home, or in a studio depending on what feels most aligned with you. Location is chosen intentionally to support the feeling and story you want your images to reflect, including locations throughout Salt Lake City and nearby areas.
You’ll receive guidance to help you choose clothing that feels comfortable, intentional, and true to you. The goal is to support connection and ease, not matching outfits or trends, for your portrait photography session.
Yes. All sessions are inclusive and affirming. I do not make assumptions about gender, family structure, relationships, or identity. My approach is rooted in respect, autonomy, and creating a safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals and couples to feel fully themselves.
Most sessions last between one and two hours depending on the type of session and the pace needed. Newborn and family sessions are always approached with flexibility and care.
Absolutely. Portraits can include partners, children, chosen family, and pets. Sessions are designed to reflect real connection rather than a rigid structure.
You’ll receive a curated gallery of fully edited, high-resolution images. The number of images varies by session type, but the focus is always on quality, storytelling, and longevity.
Final galleries are typically delivered within a few weeks. You’ll be notified as soon as your images are ready to view and download.
Booking begins with an inquiry so we can talk through your vision and determine what type of session fits best. From there, you’ll receive next steps to reserve your date.
